A significant percentage of American voters support a proposal to divide the country into two separate countries – amid bitter political divisions, according to a new daily Just the News poll with Scott Rasmussen.
Twenty-five percent of respondents support “dividing the red and blue states into separate countries”.
A very large majority, 62%, oppose such a measure.

Political divisions in the United States have grown even more bitter and divided in the wake of the 2020 election, won by Democrat Joe Biden in close competition and amid concerns over voting irregularities in the US electoral process.
