A quarter of Americans think it’s time for the United States to split into separate red and blue countries

A significant percentage of American voters support a proposal to divide the country into two separate countries – amid bitter political divisions, according to a new daily Just the News poll with Scott Rasmussen.

Twenty-five percent of respondents support “dividing the red and blue states into separate countries”.

A very large majority, 62%, oppose such a measure.
