Allen West joins Gab in defending freedom of speech against defamation of establishments – Dateway

As the current uprising reported on Wednesday, Texas Republican Party Allen West made an account on Gab.com, dealing a blow to establishment Republicans such as Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Vice -GOP President, Cat Parks.

Abbott called Gab an “anti-Semitic platform” earlier this month, and Parks pushed for the state’s GOP account to be removed from Gab.

“Anyone who knows me knows that I support our constitutional rights, including that of free speech,” West said on Gab on Wednesday.

This is remarkable considering the fact that 35 Texas SREC members voted to remove the GOP Gab account. Some the vote was rushed and members did not know what they were on. Others have expressed contempt for right-wing white Christians and prefer the party to only support left-wing businesses while using Gab’s question to promote a broader agenda to de-Trumpify the party.

West’s move to Gab comes just hours after it was announced that no new footage or showing President Trump speaking will be allowed on Facebook or Instagram.

Critics have pointed to the apparent hypocrisy of Cat Parks and Greg Abbott in pushing to smear and demean Gab, while being copacetic with social media giants Facebook and Twitter completely depersonalizing President Trump and other .
