John Matze, CEO of Parler
Sunday (tomorrow) at midnight, Amazon will shut down all our servers in an attempt to completely suppress free speech on the Internet. Parler may not be available on the internet for a week as we are rebuilding from scratch. We have prepared for events like this by never relying on proprietary infrastructure of Amazons and building bare metal products.
We will do our best to switch to a new vendor right now, as many are competing for our business, but Amazon, Google, and Apple deliberately did so as part of a coordinated effort knowing that our options would be limited and knowing that it would inflict the most damage. because President Trump has been banned from tech companies.
It was a coordinated attack by the tech giants to kill the competition in the market. We have succeeded too quickly. You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t count us.
