Antifa intimidates Powell’s books by suppressing Andy Ngo’s book; Still sells over 60 versions of Mein Kampf (VIDEO)

Portland Powell’s Books’ iconic bookstore has now become the focal point of antifa terrorists, as thugs showed up to protest the store for transporting Andy Ngo’s book. One way or another, the bookstore is now all of a sudden a hub for evil fascists.

That’s right, even the long-standing bookstore isn’t immune to the antifa rage. Powell has been an integral part of the Portland community for several decades.

Willamette Week Reports:

Responding to outcry from customers, Powell’s Books announced Monday that it would not carry a book by conservative scholar Andy Ngo criticizing Portland anti-fascists to its stores, but would continue to sell it online.

His book, Unmasked: inside Antifa’s radical plan to destroy democracy, will be published by Hachette on February 21. Over the weekend, local activists launched an online campaign asking Powell to drop the book.

Powell replied that he had not hand-picked the book, but that copies were automatically provided by Hachette, the publisher. The bookseller said he would not promote the book or place it on store shelves.

This response is not very satisfactory. Several dozen people demonstrated outside the gates of Powell’s City of Books on West Burnside Street on Monday afternoon, block the entrance doors, and pledged to return Tuesday morning. Others criticized Powell for giving in to the pressure on the books he would store.

In response to a request for WW, Ngo said he was disappointed.

“Considering that Powell devotes a portion of each year to banned and censored books, it is a shame that they made the decision to restrict in-store sales of a book by a local author weeks before its release,” he said. he declared. “However, I also have sympathy for them given how ruthless Antifa has been in vandalism and damage to local businesses.”

KOIN 6 reports that they ended up closing the store for the day and led customers to another exit.

But that is not enough for the maniacal Communists, who are still upset, for reasons!

Ironically, Powell’s still sells over 60 versions of Mein Kampf on their website. You know, a real Nazi book.

A mad protester addresses this issue and apologizes for wearing Mein Kampf because it’s historic and not current:

Ironically, Powell’s hosts an annual “Forbidden Books Week” where they celebrate works that had previously been deemed by the general public to be too controversial.
