Democrats are desperate in their attempts to destroy President Trump. They want a reward for him, exposing their corruption and failures for four years.

Chief Justice John Roberts is eager to avoid presiding over Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial – after he became a lightning rod in the first.

Just as the Senate seeks to determine how it could proceed with an impeachment trial without skipping the start of Joe Biden’s tenure, the Supreme Court could face a reorganization of its own affairs.

The Constitution states that “when the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice presides.”

But with the Senate on hold since the House voted for impeachment, the trial will take place when Trump is no longer in office – which could give Roberts a withdrawal.
