More than 150 people have been as anti-lockdown protesters clash with police in central London. Hundreds of protesters marched through the near Oxford Street chanting ‘freedom’ on Saturday, with some carrying signs reading ‘stop controlling us’ and ‘no more lockdowns’. Metropolitan Police said the arrests related to a number of suspected offenses, including violation of coronavirus regulations and that they expected that number to increase.
