Covid-19 study on the effectiveness of wearing a mask rejected by journals because no one is ‘brave’ enough to publish the results – Danish researchers – Dateway

A large-scale study in Denmark to determine whether masks help stop the spread of Covid-19 has been rejected by several prestigious journals. The authors suggested that their results were not favorable to the status quo.
The Lancet, the New England Journal of Medicine and the American Medical Association Journal have all refused the journal, Danish media reported Thursday.

The study, which began at the end of April, involved 6,000 Danes, half of whom were asked to wear masks at all times in public places. The other half were chosen as the control group and instructed not to cover their faces. After one month, the participants were tested for Covid-19 as well as for antibodies against the virus.

The study’s researchers remained tight-lipped about their findings, but dropped many clues that suggested that it was the paper’s conclusion, not its methodology, that led to the reviews being rejected.

With ZERO deaths yesterday and only 1,283 “test positive”, the entire country of Ireland is on lockdown “for 6 weeks” with travel limited to 3 miles. The lock comes with a travel pass app identical to that of China and will switch to the travel pass for vaccines. Australia, Ireland, Wales – and being forced on the rest of Western Civilization by fighting the traitors in our own governments.

“We can’t start discussing what they’re not happy with. Because if this is the case, we must also explain what the study showed. And we don’t want to discuss it until it’s published, ”Christian Torp-Pedersen, professor and chief medical officer in the research department at North Zealand Hospital, told the Danish daily Berlingske.

Another member of the study team wrote in an email shared by former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson last week that their findings would be released “as soon as a journal is brave enough to accept the ‘article’.

Denmark currently requires masks to be worn on public transport, as well as in bars and restaurants when customers leave their tables.

There is a debate raging around the world over mask warrants that purport to stop the transmission of the coronavirus.

Japanese researchers recently published a study which found that masks may offer some degree of protection against airborne Covid-19 particles, but noted that even professional-grade face coatings cannot remove completely the risk of contagion.

Oddly, at the start of the pandemic, many health officials and organizations urged not to use masks on a large scale among the general public, calling these policies ineffective. For example, in an interview in March, Dr Anthony Fauci, a member of the White House Covid-19 task force, insisted that there was no reason why apparently healthy people ” walk around in a mask ”. At the time, his views reflected a broad consensus among medical institutions and professionals, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Surgeon General. The Fauci, WHO and CDC subsequently rescinded their recommendations and supported mask mandates.

However, many have argued that there is still insufficient data to justify the mandatory wearing of the mask. Deborah Cohen, the medically qualified British correspondent for BBC2’s Newsnight, reported in July that the WHO committee reviewing the organization’s mask recommendation was motivated by political lobbying, not new scientific evidence.

There does not appear to be any correlation between the cases and the mask warrants allegedly put in place to stop the spread of the virus. Countries like the Czech Republic have seen an increase in new cases, requiring masks in public places. At the same time, South Korea, which also has a mask mandate, has not seen a significant increase in positive Covid-19 test results.
