Critics Choice Super Awards – Full Winners List – Dateway

The Critics Choice Association (CCA) will host its first Critics Choice Super Awards on The CW on Sunday evening. Like many televised awards shows in the past 10 months, the Critics Choice Super Awards follow Covid-19 security protocols, hosted by writer-director Kevin Smith and actress Dani Fernandez. The full show can be streamed for free on Monday on The CW App and cwtv.com.

The Super Awards recognize the most popular fan-obsessed genres in television and film, including superheroes / comics, science fiction / fantasy, horror, action and animation. At the top of this year’s list of winners in the film categories Palm Springs and soul with three wins each on Amazon The young led series wins with four trophies. Overall, Netflix won the most awards and added five super awards to its coat thanks to Da 5 Bloods, The Old Guard and BoJack rider.

Friday Ratings: ABC’s ‘Shark Tank’ beats the evening’s demos

Hulu and NEON Palm Springs Palm Springs was named best science fiction / fantasy film, while Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti were named actors. Disneys soul Earned Best Animated Film, as well as Best Voice Actor in an Animated Film for Jamie Foxx and Best Voice Actress in an Animated Film for Tina Fey.

The devilish one The young Tidied up on the series side and won the Best Superhero Series. Aya Cash won best actress in a superhero series, while Antony Starr won best actor in a superhero series and best villain in a series. He was the only actor to take home multiple awards.

The Legacy Award was given to the Star Trek Franchise. Star Trek Patrick Stewart icon and Star Trek: Discovery Star Sonequa Martin-Green accepted the special honor that came as the franchise celebrated its 55th anniversary.

The Critics Choice Super Awards show was produced by Bob Bain Productions. The CCA is represented by Dan Black from Greenberg Traurig.
