Far-left extremists in Germany violently attacked a populist political candidate in the streets campaigning for this year’s regional elections.
Alternative for Germany (AfD) candidate Stephan Schwarz was hospitalized after the beating, which took place in the town of Schorndorf over the weekend.
According to the city attorney, Schwarz was operating an information booth when he was approached by around 15 to 20 people carrying Antifa flags and banners.
Schwarz, 36, was dragged to the ground and beaten by a crowd before having his cell phone stolen as he tried to call the police.
Schwarz was then taken to a local hospital where he was diagnosed with a concussion.
“Police subsequently arrested five people in connection with the incident, three outside the city train station and two others on a pedestrian bridge,” Breitbart reports. “All five are said to be between 18 and 25 and are currently under investigation by the Stuttgart prosecutor’s office.”
“Violence must never be a means of political debate: I am dismayed and dismayed by the violent attack on the AfD Landtag candidate, Stephan Schwarz, and the destruction of the AfD information stand at the market Schorndorf Weekly Today ”, said Schorndorf Mayor Matthias. Klopfer.
As we pointed out earlier, the Antifa extremists threatened to assassinate an AfD member of parliament, even stating the exact date they were going to kill her.
MP Frank Magnitz was also brutally attacked by left-wing radicals, with Antifa later claiming credit for what some observers have suggested was an assassination attempt.
In the age of mass censorship in Silicon Valley, it is essential that we stay in touch.
