Flights from China, the original source of the coronavirus, also continue to land in London on a regular basis.

Yesterday, no less than five flights from Brazil arrived at Heathrow in the space of ten minutes, as the country recorded more than 7 million cases of COVID-19.

As we previously reported, the so-called ‘’ strain of COVID-19 that prompted many European countries to close their borders to visitors from the UK was present in Brazil eight months ago.

The UK also has a lower coronavirus infection rate than some of the countries that have the UK off.

Britons abroad are being held captive at airports by security guards due to confusion over travel ban and border closures, but visitors from around the world continue to arrive in Britain without any problem.
