The failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton celebrated President Trump’s permanent suspension from Twitter on Friday, drawing attention to a tweet she sent to Trump telling him to delete his account in 2016 months before his election.
Clinton posted a tweet telling Trump, “delete your account” with a simple check mark.
His divisive tweet comes after Trump issued a statement denouncing Twitter’s anti-US attack on his office, which Twitter quickly suppressed:
“As I have said for a long time, Twitter has gone further and further in banning free speech, and tonight Twitter employees coordinated with Democrats and the radical left to remove my account from. their platform, to silence me – and YOU, the 75,000,000 big
“… Patriots who voted for me. Twitter may be a private business, but the government’s Section 230 donation wouldn’t exist for long. I predicted it would happen. We have negotiated with various other sites and will have a big announcement soon, while we… ”
“… Also consider the possibilities of creating our own platform in the near future. We will not be SILENT! Twitter is not about FREE SPEECH. This is about promoting a platform of the radical left where some of the most vicious people in the world are allowed to speak freely… STAY TUNED!
Twitter’s unprecedented crackdown on Friday was not only directed against Trump, but also against dozens of prominent conservatives, such as lawyer Sidney Powell and former national security adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.
Now we know how bad it is, and the President of the United States is now officially banned from social media.
