How scandal-ravaged Matt Gaetz became ‘excommunicated’ on Fox News

AIn March, MAGA congressman Matt Gaetz appeared on Tucker Carlson’s prime- Fox News show in an attempt to exonerate himself over the allegation of having sex with a 17-year-old girl. . It was an appearance on a network that had been very friendly for years to Gaetz and in many ways served as an open forum for him to attack the left and hail then-President Donald Trump as a hero.

But almost immediately after the interview, the conservative cable giant apparently started pissing off his buddy, the scandal-ridden Florida Republican. Not only did the network seem to keep Gaetz’s news or sympathetic coverage to a minimum, it also put him on some sort of informal blacklist – at least for now.

“It’s very unlikely you’ll see him again anytime soon,” a Fox News insider told The Daily Beast, when asked about Gaetz’s personal return to one of their TV shows.
