The Nelson County Republican Party wrote to Senator Mitch McConnell on Tuesday asking him to immediately step down as leader of the Republican Party caucus in the US Senate.

It comes after McConnell’s comments on Saturday and an explosive editorial in the the Street violently attack and smear President Donald Trump.

Nelson County President Don Thrasher noted McConnell’s “utter and utter disregard for the will of your constituents” for the reason for the letter.

** Mitch McConnell’s favorability rate is 18%, near Liz Cheney’s territory! There is no way he should be majority leader in the Senate!
