Judicial Watch Gets Emails Showing Fauci’s NIH Supported China’s COVID-19 Privacy Policy in February 2020

Watch today announced receipt of the requested emails regarding the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and its interactions with China and the World Health Organization.

Watch requested emails related to Dr Fauci and China and WHO they today:

Watch today announced that it and the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) have 301 pages emails and other recordings from Dr Anthony Fauci and Dr H. Clifford Lane of the US Department of Health and Services showing that officials at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) have adapted the privacy forms to China’s conditions and that the World Health Organization (WHO) conducted an unprecedented and “strictly confidential” epidemiological analysis of COVID-19 in January 2020.

Further, emails reveal freelance reporter in China pointing to inconsistent COVID numbers in China to deputy director of clinical research and special projects at NIH National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Cliff Lane.

Watch continues:

The new emails include a conversation on privacy forms on February 14-15, 2020 between Lane and the WHO Technical Officer. Mansuk Daniel Han. Han writes, “This time the forms are adapted to China terms, so we can’t use the ones from before.”

A WHO briefing pack sent on February 13, 2020 to NIH officials traveling to China as part of the COVID response asks officials to wait to information until they have an agreement with China: “IMPORTANT: Please treat this as sensitive and not for public communications until we have agreed to communications with China. ”

These revelations are puzzling. Why did Fauci’s NIH bend over backwards to abide by China’s terms of confidentiality regarding the Chinese coronavirus and what was contained in the WHO’s “ strictly confidential ” COVID-19 epidemiological analysis?
