Kamala Harris, first woman elected vice-president, addresses nation: ‘I can be the first, I won’t be the last’

Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) addressed the nation on Saturday night as the first woman of color ever to be elected vice president.

“Although I am the first woman to occupy this office, I will not be the last,” she said.

She thanked supporters for continuing to work during Donald Trump’s presidency.
