Lululemon Keep Moving high waist pant review

This year I have missed my friends, restaurants and hairstyles, however, I will be sure to wear sweatshirts all the time, but I have decided that I need to for this inevitability. I think I do my best with the sweatpants: there is no change in avoiding tightening and pinching weirdly and just thinking about the time saved, never having to iron anything. I think that’s what I’ll miss the most when I get back to work: the freedom of an elastic waistband. But I’m no longer worried because I just found the perfect wardrobe piece to help me make the transition to business casual, the Keep Moving Pants by Lululemon.

My favorite part of athleisure is that it feels free and unrestricted. Unlike jeans or pants, sweatshirts and yoga pants do not cause friction or resistance (and therefore no chafing either). Don’t get me wrong, I love good jeans or twill pants, but there’s a time and place for everything, and some work days call for a nicer pant option.

The Keep Moving Pants start at the bottom of the jogging pants with a drawstring elastic waistband, but tapers down the leg smoothly to form an open ⅞ cut at the ankle with no sporty details you might find in others athletic joggers. They come in ten colors ranging from dark muted green and blue to lighter khaki and gray tones that would match a spring outfit and, of course, black. Some of my other favorite aspects of Keep Moving Pant are the soft Nulu fabric inner waistband and the hidden zipper pockets which are large enough for your keys and credit card.

While I’m no stranger to the immense benefits of athleisure, and I’m a sucker for a drawstring belt, that’s actually not why I researched this particular item. While the Keep Moving pants have the breathability and buttery fabric feel of my old Lululemon Align joggers, I this pair because, with a sweater and flats, they can easily pass as dress pants.

The Keep Moving pants have the breathable, frictionless comfort I’m looking for and a sleek design that mentally makes me feel like I’m dressing the room without feeling like I’m physically dressing the room. Now it feels like casual Friday is everyday.
