Fortunately, his resume and character (I hired for Judge Garland centuries ago, in 1998-99) suggests he might be the perfect fit for the job, having pursued right-wing terrorist Timothy McVeigh and having built a solid reputation for fairness and thoroughness. in the decades that followed.
