Electoral integrity group True the Vote is suing Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) and county officials in Wayne County, Washtenaw County and Ingham County, Michigan, alleging that the dead and criminals voted illegally in the election presidential.
The lawsuit, filed Thursday, aims to invalidate ballots in counties where they allege illegal ballots and fraudulent counting took place. The lawsuit cites reports claiming that about 10,000 deceased people returned mail-in ballots to vote in Michigan.
Catherine Engelbrecht, of True the Vote, said:
Every counted illegal vote dilutes the voting rights of law-abiding American citizens and jeopardizes Americans’ confidence in their electoral process. Enough is enough. True the Vote takes a stand on behalf of the Michiganders – and all Americans – to stop the bad actors who take away the most basic rights of citizens by refusing to guarantee our electoral process. We will take the appropriate steps to put an end to it.
Among the evidence presented, the lawsuit claims that the counting of the ballots was not transparent, the dates on the ballots were fraudulently changed, software problems occurred, administrative errors occurred, Illegal votes were cast, poll observers were excluded from voting sites, ballots were wrongly backdated, and votes were cast on counting sites.
