Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz Blames South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem For Letting COVID-19 Crawl Around

As a result of a mass-market motorcycle rally and other almost maskless mass gatherings such as a buffalo roundup, South Dakota itself has become a super-spreader.

And in a press conference this week, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz held South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem partly responsible for a COVID-19 outbreak in his state that now forces him to impose new restrictions. He pointedly cited this summer’s Sturgis motorcycle rally.

“Absolutely unnecessary,” Walz said of the rally.
