Video of a Texan mother performing an incredible tackle on a fleeing ‘voyeur’ has gone viral after dash cam footage was released to the public by police.
Phyllis Pena threw her body in danger as the young man tried to flee his property in Lake Jackson on January 31.
Pena says she arrived home from the store around 7 a.m. and caught 19-year-old Zane Hawkins looking into her 15-year-old daughter’s bedroom.
When officers arrived at the scene, Hawkins reportedly sprinted down the road, where he was pulled over by Pena.

“The first instinct was just to make sure he didn’t go any further,” Pena said.
“The cop punched me and he said, ‘Hey, I heard the Texans are looking for a new linebacker.'”
Pena kept the suspect down as officers rushed to apprehend him.
Hawkins has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest and resisting arrest, Lake Jackson police said in a statement.
