Recently retired doctors are barred from helping administer COVID-19 vaccines because the NHS requires them to have ‘diversity training’ and knowledge of ‘radicalization’.
40,000 doctors and nurses asked to return to the NHS in March, at the start of the pandemic, but only 5,000 had been hired in July, according to a report from the Telegraph.
A similar bureaucracy is also hampering vaccine deployment, with doctors having to comply with the requirements of the Equality Act.
The paperwork faced by retired doctors who want to help roll out vaccination. 20 pieces of evidence most of us just don’t have. REALLY???
If it’s a war, use your army of dads and leave us a little behind.

This means that when they enter the minefield which is the process of applying for vaccine administration assistance, they must provide 20 pieces of evidence including documents on equality, diversity and rights. human rights, fire safety, conflict resolution and the prevention of radicalization.
“I reached this page on my application and have given up for now. I don’t see a lot of retired clinicians wading through this lot – or having all of the paperwork, ”Prof Maureen Baker said.
I reached this page on my application and have given up for now. You don’t see many retired clinicians wading through this lot – or having all of the required paperwork. The process * needs * to be streamlined urgently @NHSEnglandNMD You couldn’t imagine anything more bureaucratic in a month of Sundays! https://t.co/IJuVjb7qNC

“Yes, I’m going through this today… now at my 7th hour of CPD! Not even at “pre-employment screening” yet. Many suspects will have given up now, ”commented Professor Nicola Thomas.

The NHS responded by saying it was necessary “in order to recruit a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds”.
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the time it took to join the National Vac program. We have a rigorous recruitment process in place to recruit a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds – many of whom are not registered healthcare professionals 1/2

In other words, sticking to diversity quotas is more important than having as many physicians as possible to help speed up vaccine rollout.
In the age of mass censorship in Silicon Valley, it is essential that we stay in touch.
