With a second round of the Senate in Georgia potentially determining which party takes control, GOP Senator Ted Cruz has warned that if the state falls into the hands of Democrats, with the presidency, Americans will face a “socialist abyss.”
During an appearance on Fox News, which has already called Joie Biden’s presidency to the disgust of many Republicans, Cruz demanded that the rule of law be respected.
“At this point, we don’t know who triumphed in the election,” the senator said, pointing out that “the media are desperate to get everyone to crown Joe Biden as the next president, but it doesn’t that’s not how it works. “
“The media don’t choose our president. The American people elect our president, ”Cruz urged.
“We have many states that are very closely and vigorously contested – from Pennsylvania to Georgia to Arizona, New Mexico, Michigan and Wisconsin. In all of these states there are serious disputes over vote totals, and there is a legal process to resolve those disputes, ”said Cruz.
“So at this point we should allow the rule of law to work. We need to allow the legal process to move forward. And when this process is concluded, which will be in a few weeks, we will know who triumphed in the elections, ”added Cruz.
Alex Jones explains how Joe Biden and his managers are pushing full steam ahead to eliminate all executive orders from President Trump and restore their America-killing globalist agenda, including a nationwide mask tenure, even as the votes cast in the battlefield states are always counted.
The senator then warned of a scenario in which the Senate and the Presidency could fall into the hands of the Democratic Party.
“If we have a Chuck Schumer Senate and a Joe Biden Presidency, they’ll pack the US Supreme Court; they will end the filibuster; they will adopt massive tax increases; they will pass the Green New Deal, destroying millions of jobs, ”Cruz warned.
“If we have a Republican Senate, none of this is happening,” he noted.
“If you want to check Joe Biden, if you don’t want to go beyond the socialist abyss, Georgia is the great enchilada,” Cruz proclaimed.
The two Senate seats in Georgia will be contested in a second round in early January.
The GOP currently holds 48 Senate seats, with Democrats out of 46, in addition to two Democrats-aligned independents. The GOP leads in two states that still count the votes, North Carolina and Alaska.
With a majority of 51 seats needed to control the Senate, that means Georgia is key, with strategists estimating $ 500 million could be spent on the two races there.
There has not been a Democratic senator in the state for 20 years.
Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer told a crowd in New York at the weekend: “Now we take Georgia, then we change America”:
