Republicans ask Supreme Court to let Obamacare bleed to death

Last week, 75 million people voted for the candidate promising to preserve the Affordable Care Act, four million more than his opponent. But on Tuesday, the Supreme Court will hear a case to kill her.

This is the third such case, in fact, brought by conservative activists hoping to win more than five judges after failing to convince the American people.

At some level, what will happen in this case, California vs. Texas, depends on key principles of legal philosophy and constitutional interpretation. On the other hand, however, it depends on what kind of judges the conservative supreme majority of the Supreme Court wants to be: the principle kind, or the activist kind.
