Moments after receiving a presidential pardon, besieged politician and former Trump campaign adviser Roger Stone announced he would file a $ 25 million lawsuit against the Justice Department and former senior officials who took part in its persecution.
Stone made the announcement through his Talk account early Thursday morning, where he added he would also file formal complaints of prosecution of the prosecution.
“The conditions of my pardon allow me to pursue the Ministry of Justice, [former FBI Special Counsel] Robert Mueller, [former FBI Director] James Comey, [former CIA Director] John Brennan, [former deputy attorney general] Rod Rosenstein, [former Mueller prosecutor] Jonathan Kravis, [former Mueller prosecutor] Aaron “Fat Ass” Zelinsky, [former Mueller prosecutor] Jeanie Rhee and [former Mueller prosecutor] Michael Morando, ”Stone wrote.
“My attorneys are going to file formal prosecution misconduct complaints with the DOJ Professional Liability Office at the same time as I file a $ 25 million lawsuit against the DOJ and each of these individuals personally,” Stone said.
“In fact,” he added, “I will add [US Attorney General] Bill Barr at trial and I will handle his cross-examination personally.
Trump’s longtime confidant faced 40 months in jail after being convicted of five separate counts related to the investigation into the collusion of FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller in Russia.
Stone was relieved to be part of a list of 26 new pardons issued by the president on Wednesday, which also included former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, and Charles Kushner, the father of senior White House adviser Jared Kushner. .

Trump for his act of extraordinary justice in granting me a presidential pardon, completely erasing the criminal conviction to which I ‘was submitted in a Soviet-style show trial on politically motivated charges, still corrupted by flagrant and illegal misconduct on the part of the presiding judge in the case, ”Stone wrote on her website.
Stone also asked Trump to forgive Wikileaks editor Julian Assange, NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, late Jamaican journalist Marcus Garvey and former Secret Service agent Abraham W. Bolden, Sr.
