Rudy Giuliani released his first public defense after details emerged of his big appearance in Next Borat movie. While it may appear he was inappropriately touching himself with his hands in his pants in a hotel room alongside an actress posing as a reporter, he swore he was actually just in pulling in his shirt.
“I had to remove the electronic equipment,” Giuliani said in a radio interview Wednesday. “And when the electronic gear came off, part of it was on the back and my shirt came out a bit, even though my clothes were all on. I lean back, and tuck my shirt in, and at that point, at that point, they have this picture they take that looks tampered with, but anyhow I pull my shirt in. I assure you that’s all I was to do. “
In the scene from the film, which Giuliani probably hasn’t seen yet, he can be seen stroking the actress’ back as she helps him remove her microphone. He lays down on the bed in the hotel room and thrusts his hands into his pants to tuck his shirt in, but they stay there longer than he suggests in his interview. The film will be released on Amazon Prime Video this Friday.
At times paranoid, Giuliani insisted on WABC radio that the entire episode was a bit of a retribution for the work he was doing on behalf of his client, President Donald Trump, to spread dirt on the son of the Vice President Joe Biden, Hunter.
“They will do anything. They attacked me for everything that was possible, investigated every business deal I ever had, ”he says. “And now idiot Borat is chasing me with a totally sensational fake tale of a ridiculous movie, I guess he’s done.”
“Now let me tell you why I know this is a successful job that happens because, it’s no accident if it happens that I give all this evidence on their prince and darling Joe Biden who is one of the biggest crooks of the last thirty years. , and since I have the courage to say that I am the target, ”he continued, linking a scene that was returned in July to the emails and texts he posted last week that allegedly came from of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Noting that he had reported the July incident to police “immediately” when it happened, Giuliani criticized both Sacha Baron Cohen and the film industry in general.
“Everyone in Hollywood hates me, you know, right?” he said. “I’m a devil in Hollywood. Nothing of me comes out during this time, nothing sensational about me in the movie. Now all of a sudden there’s all this sensational stuff about me in the movie. I don’t know if it was added, tampered with, manipulated, whatever.
As Giuliani recounts, he entered what “seemed like a legitimate interview” with a “young lady” who turned out to be actress Maria Balakova, who plays Borat’s teenage daughter in the film.
“At one point, she explained to me some problems she was having. I actually prayed with her, ”he says. “And then I had to leave. I had my jacket on. I was fully clothed at all times.
