At least one person has and hundreds more have been hospitalized due to an unknown illness that emerged in Eluru, India. Medical authorities are working to identify the causes of health problems.

Residents of the town, located in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, were rushed to hospital after suffering from dizziness, headaches, vomiting and epileptic-like symptoms. Around 300 people have been treated for the unexplained illness in total, with more than 140 discharged after receiving medical treatment, according to NDTV, citing health officials.

Most people seem to be recovering from this illness, but one patient, a 45-year-old man, after being admitted to hospital with symptoms of nausea and epilepsy.
