Stand firm, why you were born
Focus on your certainty, don’t get torn
They warned against slogans and war
And today here they are
Facing viral distractions
Hold your posture and keep the traction
Endure brutality every day
Hold on to your vital path
Healthy body, strong mind and pure mind
Slow tongue, measured movement and quick wit
Your business in mind, no time to think about mine
Our paths will cross at some point
I make my choices, you make yours too
Fall or stay out of line cause that’s what we do
But be careful, if you slip you slip
You can’t hide from your decision
Don’t have the need cause it’s a lie
And always ask why
Understand and love your root
Accept and respect the real truth
This is where we will understand
You yourself man, is your law and your land
Anger and confusion disappear
To have pity on us who have lost the way
No weight in our actions, just words in a line
Like trying to understand the sound of the color nine
The rare wars with the many and many wars between them
The virus is a trending vaccine dragging the shelves
Something else to think about
Yet another cause to cry out
From the gentle coercion of the feeling of hunger
To violent demons born from mother’s fangs
To the sexes, to texts and to exes in boxes
And the bosses who floss while some feel the losses
And time passes like the gas of donkeys
Cracked minds in glasses to break the masses
Those who shake the box
Will their own key to the locks
Open it up and break
Barriers knocked down in-game
Have the balls to blow when it sucks
And I could go on but I won’t
Cause some can do better but don’t
While some will remain tense
On every man’s fence
Think your defense safe
So all you can do for yourself
Be true to yourself
The seed that was sown, the way you grew
This is what will take you through
