Patrons at a restaurant in British Columbia, Canada united to denounce two city health inspectors who were trying to shut down the business for allegedly violating COVID-19 guidelines.
The footage, captured on Saturday, shows a woman who runs Corduroy Restaurant in Vancouver holding a small child while telling inspectors they are “encroaching on her private property.”
Despite being asked to leave, one of the health inspectors told the woman, “I don’t agree” about the trespassing allegation.
At this point, almost everyone in the restaurant starts chanting loudly, “Get out! Get out! ”To the masked emissaries of the State.
When the health inspectors leave because of the singing, the bosses of the establishment go wild with applause.
The corduroy restaurant remains open against the “closing order” mandated by the local government.
