US elections: Biden launches pandemic task force, Trump launches lawsuits to challenge election result

US President-elect Joe Biden on Monday launched his 12-member coronavirus task force to bring the pandemic under control as cases rise in most states. Biden made a nationwide appeal for Americans to wear masks and called on Prime Minister Trudeau to discuss common challenges – particularly the pandemic. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump still refuses to concede and is launching electoral fraud prosecutions, many of which have been dismissed by the courts due to lack of evidence.
