Detailed by the New York TimesBiden’s list of transition team members includes former Wall Street employees and those with close ties to Wall Street. Many of the large banks with ties to members of Biden’s transition team were major donors to the former vice president.

the Times reports:

Department of Commerce: The review team is led by Geovette Washington of the University of Pittsburgh, who previously served as General Legal Advisor and Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Management and Budget. Other members include Anna Gomez, partner at the Wiley Rein law firm; Arun Venkataraman, who works in government relations at Visa (and was director of policy in the Department of Commerce under Mr. Obama); and Ellen Hughes-Cromwick of the Third Way think tank, who served as chief economist in Mr. Obama’s Commerce Department and held a similar position at Ford.
