Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger announced that he was starting an alternative to Wikipedia due to the fact that they were taken over by the left.
Just The News reported:
TREND: HUGE EXCLUSIVE: American Dr Ralph Baric Reviewed Moderna and Dr Fauci’s Coronavirus Vaccine in December 2019! — What is happening?
A Wikipedia co-founder is launching a competing website as a free speech pro-alternative to what he sees as the increasingly monolithic left-wing bias of his former organization.
Here’s more on what he’s starting:
Sanger told Just the News that his upcoming new project, called “Encyclosphere,” is a decentralized network of global encyclopedias, what he called “an old-fashioned, leaderless and ownerless network like the blogosphere”.
Sanger said, just as there are no administrators in the blogosphere, “similarly, I want to create a protocol that ties all online encyclopedias very loosely together.”
He made the initial announcement in a tweet in December:
The encyclosphere is going to be awesome. I am still preparing the website and the next seminar. pic.twitter.com/hXSB01ArFS

Gateway Pundit has written extensively on Wikipedia’s history of left-wing prejudice.
Here are some of those reports:
Facebook and Google continue to work with Wikipedia to denigrate and disparage Gateway Pundit and prominent US conservatives
Wikipedia page for Kamala Harris rubbing to remove potentially damaging information
Corrupt Wikipedia no longer considers FOX News “generally reliable” – joins Gateway Pundit and The Epoch Times as censored websites
In the interview, Sanger cited a Fox News report that revealed the laundering of atrocities under socialism and communism.
The two main Wikipedia pages devoted to socialism and communism made no reference to the tens of millions of people killed under the communist and socialist regimes.
