WisEye Morning Minute: Election Commission on Recount Fee and Election Fraud Prosecutions



Wisconsin Election Commission administrator Meagan Wolfe held a press conference to provide an update on a possible recount cost and whether the Trump campaign contacted them about a voter fraud trial. Wolfe explained that they don’t have a recount cost estimate at this time, but they expect the cost to be more than the $ 2 million recount in 2016. The commission has not received any indication or confirmation of the Trump campaign regarding a recount and there was no recount. any legal action filed with their office for electoral fraud. However, it was reported today that three voters in northeastern Wisconsin have filed a federal lawsuit to exclude the November 3 ballots in Milwaukee, Dane and Menominee counties, which helped hand over the state to President-elect Joe Biden.
