The CEO of Waffle House slams crippling locks, saying there is no evidence the coronavirus has spread from its 2,000 restaurants.
In an interview with Fox News on Monday, CEO Walter Ehmer said the company has no coronavirus cases and has traced other Covid-19 infections to other sources.
“We have proven, in those nine months, that we have no evidence of any spread going back to our restaurants to our employees or our customers,” Ehmer told Fox. “We tracked all of our infections… and it all goes back to something outside of the restaurant.”
Ehmer says the Covid restrictions do little or nothing to stop the spread of the virus, and instead, hurt the economy and vulnerable U.S. business owners.
“We are disproportionately hurting Americans who want to work for no data and no science that points to this dangerous place,” Ehmer said.
He added that while the Covid restrictions affecting restaurants are ineffective, their negative impact on employees is real.
“Closing restaurant dining rooms has virtually no impact on reducing the spread,” Ehmer said. “And what that has is some devastating impact on the millions of people in this industry who turn to restaurants for their livelihood… and at this time of year to buy Christmas presents for their children.
With the unfolding of the “The Great Reset” agenda, the future of restaurants and their employees looks incredibly precarious.
